14th General Assembly of the Federation of Association of Private Schools and Administration (FAPSA)

The Federation of Association of Private Schools and Administrators (FAPSA) will hold its General Assembly with the theme "Beating the Odds of Survival: A Challenged Private School Must Endure" on October 6-7, 2011 at the Manila Ocean Park.
The topics to be discussed in the assembly are the following:
  1. The K+6+4+2 Education and the Revised Manual of Regulations for Private Schools;
  2. The Rights of School Administrators, Teachers and Students, Illegal Dismissal of Students and Teachers, No Permit No Exam Policy of Private Schools;
  3. Government Assistance to Private Education (GASTPE) and Education Voucher System-Education Service Contracting ESC);
  4. Tax exemption and benefits of private schools in partnership with local leaders in the Cities of Marikina and Taguig (Best Practices); and
  5. Economics: Effective Budgeting of Operation for School Survival. The participants to this activity are school administrators of private schools.
A registration fee of One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (1,500) will be charged to each participant to cover meal, snacks and copies of documents.
