The Conference aims to:
- update teachers on the essence of transformation education;
- focus on identifying strategies to integrate transformative learning methods in Biology classes;
- emphasize the role of Biology teachers in shift-frame traditional mode to transformative educational techniques; and
- highlight the importance of transformative learning to bring social changes.
The target participants to this activity are educators and researchers in different fields of biology, professors, instructors, teachers and educators from both elementary and secondary schools nationwide.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled "Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.”
