The Summit aims to:
- tackle the current state of professional practices in the country;
- address the mismatch problems of supply and demand of professionals;
- unify the support and cooperation of the professional sector in support of the Philippine Development Plan; and
- come up with strategies, action plans, and recommendations to address pressing issues on practices in relation to unfolding global events including climate change and risk management.
One of the major component of the summit shall deal on issues and concerns of professional teachers and other allied professionals deeply involved in educational development of the country.
The target participants to this activity are teachers, guidance counselors and librarians from both public and private schools, and other allied professionals of the Department of Education (DepEd) central and field offices.
