The Department of Education (DepEd) through its DepEd
Computerization Program (DCP) will conduct a three (3)-day (inclusive of
travel time) Planning Workshop for Regional and Division ICT
Coordinators on March 5-7, 2012 at the Tagaytay International Convention
Center (TICC), Tagaytay City.
This Workshop aims to: - direct region and division ICT coordinators on the execution of the monitoring and evaluation process;
- validate list of secondary schools with and without internet connectivity;
- validate list of secondary schools which still do not have any computer laboratories;
- validate elementary and secondary schools which are identified as "un-energized" schools; and
- identify elementary and secondary schools with and without ICT equipment.
Participants to this activity are the regional and division ICT coordinators of the secondary schools nationwide. Please see enclosed list. Travelling and other expenses of the participants shall be charged to local funds while accommodation expenses shall be charged to DCP fund subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
