Scholarship Grants for Special Education (SPED) Teachers, Administrators & Supervisors Under the Human Resource Training and Development

The Department of Education (DepEd) through the Bureau of Elementary Education (BEE), Special Education (SPED) Division, will conduct the Scholarship Grants for SPED Teachers, Administrators and Supervisors under the Human Resource Training and Development (HRTD) Fund. This is in support to the Department's thrust on improving the quality of education for children with special needs.
The scholarship program aims to provide the SPED teachers, administrators and supervisors' knowledge and skills on various educational programs and interventions appropriate for children with special needs. This Program will be conducted in the following selected Centers of Excellence (CEOs) beginning April 10, 2012:

Priority nominees for new teacher-scholars who were already identified based on the monitoring results are listed in Enclosure No. 1, while the regions/divisions which do not have nominees shall be screened by the existing Regional Integrated Scholarship Committee (RISC) based on the criteria set in Enclosure No. 2. The deadline for the submission of nominees to the SPED Division, BEE is on March 26, 2012. The list of the returning teacher-scholars together with the documents and the Memorandum of Agreement or Training Contact duly signed by the proper authorities concerned (see Enclosure No. 3) shall be forwarded to the SPED-BEE, DepEd Complex, Meralco Avenue, Pasig City on or before March 30, 2012.

The scholars are entitled to their salaries, course tuition fees and stipend. Travel expenses at the most economical mode of transportation shall also be provided including per diem for two (2) days (1 day before and 1 day after) in going to and from the venue which will be paid on the last week of the course.

Hello Admin..i am very interested about Special Education. I am a psychology graduate , a licence teacher and at the same time a Guidance Counselor designate. I'm looking for a scholarship grant to master Special Education. Please let me know for available one..Thank you & will patiently wait for a positive result.
