GMO seeds are "patented". If these GMO companies control the seeds they can control the food supply. If they can control the food, then they can control the people. Then control the world. 400 USD million research center - so that more seeds can be patented, and sue the farmer when the patented seeds cross-pollinate the natural farmers crop. Sue the natural farmer to bankruptcy for stealing "patented seeds"
