Did you see some street children in Cebu? How do you feel when you saw them?

Can you suggest some ideas what should be done for them?

I'll start... the Cebu City government should increase funds for creating more programs and more shelter for them.

I've been a part time student in the DSWD and as I observed the problem are not with the children but ..It's from the parents itself..

They will be the one na dapat tudlo-an about these matter since it's some how a negligence to their responsibilities to take good care of their children..

Some parents..probably because also of poverty they will used their children to acquire money by doing begging from the street..

Some other reason because children also got influence by them in using vices like using drugs, rugby , Marijuana..etc..they become more aggressively beg for more from the street in order to sustain their vices..

The parent dapat managot ani na tanan..aside nuon sa wala na juy parent..

Because the children who's age 1-17 are still under the supervision by the parent and by neglecting their responsibilities under the revised penal code law of Family..The parent will be responsible and be punished for the misconduct of his/her child and mendicancy is also treat for the children safety.

In DSWD they always taking care of those children and taught with the proposed programs they do some livelihood but still the success of this program would be depend on the parents itself...Included na lang sa nag age ug 18 -Up...who can decide to move forward for good..

But there are still cases na even all those children na nataga-an ato na program mo balik man lang gihapon sa ilang past life..and mas worst if they will have a child on their own they pass it from the new generation so ang ilang life mo cycle napud ug balik..

Mao na dapat kung asa nag root ang tanan adto dapat putlon..dili ang mga bata prisonhon.or ibutang sa DSWD...Kundi ang mga parent and dapat tagan ug other ways sila na maka pangita ug livelihood para di na kailangan nila manglimos sa street and their children will be given a chance to have a better future...

But this problems..mo ugat pud sa ka lisod sa atong nasud na mag lugos gani ta di maka kita ug tarung na job or even livelihood..Then kulang pud ang mga panghimagno usab sa katawhan..

Nice kayo atong Laws and so whatever but wala ni na implement ug tarung kay wala kunoy enough na pundo atong Government...But the question it wala ba kaha'y enough na pundo..? o nawala ang pundo..?

sad sad
