Aldaba’s Theatre Friends and Company (ATFC) Stage Plays

The Aldaba’s Theatre Friends and Company (ATFC) announces the staging of the following plays for its 2013 theater season:
1. Pahimakas: Huling Sandali ng Isang Bayani
This is based on the memorable last moments of the national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal as he ponders on his life as it comes to an end in the morning of December 31, 1896.
2. Andres Bonifacio, Ang Anak ng Bayan
This is another critically-acclaimed play about love of country, struggle and commitment.
The staging of the play aims to:
  1. instill among viewers/audience a sense of nationalism, pride and love of country; and
  2. enhance their appreciation for the Philippine history, culture and moral values.
The pupils and students from both public and private schools are invited to watch these stage plays.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith. This activity is also subject to the no-collection policy as stated in Section 3 of Republic Act No. 5546, An Act Prohibiting the Sale of Tickets and/or the Collection of Contributions for Whatever Project or Purpose from Students and Teachers of Public and Private Schools, Colleges and Universities (Ganzon Law).
