The Pintonka Rivet Tool makes tubular rivet setting easy and is the affordable way to give your projects a factory original look. Redesigned in 2021 the frame is now hand built in our shop from solid steel plate— not an imported c-clamp which can bend or break. With a stiffer, stronger and more accurate frame plus all of the same great features as previous versions this is easily the best Pintonka ever! Here's why: The Pintonka Rivet Tool comes with two die drivers — a balanced and convenient T-handle driver that can be spun in the tool for speed and a hex head driver for use in tight spaces where the swing of the T-handle would strike the work. These threaded die drivers provide precise control while clinching the rivet. The Pintonka Rivet Tool can be mounted to any surface giving you a welcome ""third hand"" during the assembly and riveting process. Bolt it upright on your workbench, screw it to a post, attach it to a block, clamp it in a vise or use it handheld — a sturdy mounting hole is there when you need it. The Pintonka Rivet Tool uses the same hardened-steel squeezer dies found on factory rivet setting machines. With the included die set it will neatly roll clinch 1/8"" diameter rivets 1/8"" to 1"" long and up to 2-3/8"" in from the edge of the work. These high quality dies from Hanson Rivet are reversible in the tool allowing you to install the rivet with the head inside or outside the work — whichever suits your application. The Pintonka Rivet Tool frame is formed from CNC laser cut steel plate TIG welded to perfectly aligned die and screw fittings. The tool feels comfortable in the hand without burrs or sharp edges and the durable powder coat finish will protect it for a lifetime of use. Although it's small enough to fit in a tool box it's big enough for clinching the 1/8"" diameter tubular rivets common in Pinball, Tonka, Vent Window, Coleman Stoves and similar repair and restoration work. Please Note: The Pintonka Rivet Tool is a compact rivet squeezer and is not suitable for solid rivets, rivets made from hardened material, or steel rivets with a body diameter larger than 1/8” (for those you'll need a much bigger press). Tubular rivets must be carefully sized before squeezing and the illustrated step-by-step instructions included with the tool show you how to get perfect results every time.
