SEAMEO INNOTECH & SEAMEO VOCTECH Learning Program on Excellence in Creating Shared Responsibility for School Success

In support of the principle of decentralization, and cooperation and best practices exchange among countries in the Southeast Asian Regions, the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Center for Educational-Innovation and Technology (SEAMEO INNOTECH), in collaboration with the SEAMEO Regional Center for Vocational and Technical Education (SEAMEO VOCTECH) in Brunei Darussalam, announces its joint-program offering for school leaders and managers on Excellence in Creating Shared Responsibility for School Success on the following dates and sites with activities and expected outputs:

Learning Journey on School-Community Partnership: The Brunei Darussalam Experience

Study visit on selected schools/organizations and interaction with school leaders fostering school-community partnership

    partnership plan
  • Immediate action plans to operationalize school community partnership plan




The program aims to (a) broaden knowledge and understanding of challenges and opportunities of school-community partnership and the use of leadership capital; and (b) enhance skills in convening potential partners to collaborate on attaining mutual gains using the strategic planning framework as a guide.

The program fee of Forty Thousand Pesos (PhP40,000.00) will be charged to each participant which includes tuition fee, hotel accommodation at SEAMEO INNOTECH and in Brunei on a twin-sharing basis, learning materials, international certificate of participation, transportation for scheduled institutional visits/programmed trips, travel insurance, airport courtesies and other social support services.

The deadline for submission of applications is May 30, 2011.
