The National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), Philippines, as the highest recognition body on science and technology in the country has been actively searching for possible nominees across the country for the various NAST and Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Awards:

I.  NAST Awards
  1. Outstanding Young Scientist (OYS) Awards
  2. NAST Hugh Greenwood Environmental Science Award
  3. NAST-TWAS Prize for Young Scientist in the Philippines (Physics)
  4. NAST Talent Search for Young Scientists
  5. NAST-LELEDFI Award for Outstanding Research in Tropical Medicine
  6. Outstanding Scientific Paper Awards
  7. Outstanding Book and/or Monograph Awards
II.  DOST Awards
  1. Outstanding Technology Commercialization (Gregorio Y. Zara Medal)
  2. Outstanding Research and Development Award
    • 2.1 for Basic Research (Eduardo A. Quisumbing Medal)
    • 2.2 for Applied Research (Julian A. Banzon Medal)
  3. Outstanding Science Administrator Award (Dioscoro L. Umali Medal)
  4. Magsaysay Future Engineers/Technologists Award
The deadline for the submission of nominations is every last working day of November. NAST is also accepting abstracts for the Call for Papers for the Scientific Posters Session.
