National Seminar-Workshop on Campus Journalism
The Association of Educators for Interrelated Research and Studies (AEIRS) will conduct the National Seminar-Workshop on Campus Journalism with the theme "Techniques of Article Writing for School Paper Publication” on the following dates and venues:

October 14-15, 2011 - Quirino Hall, Teachers Camp, Baguio City

November 4-6, 2011 - Mindanao Training and Resource Center DMST Drive, Bahada, Davao City

January 20-22, 2012 - DepEd ECOTECH Center, Lahug, Cebu City
The seminar-workshop aims to:
  1. promote the importance of school paper to the participants;
  2. orient them on the techniques and procedures of writing articles in the following areas:
    1. News Writing
    2. Editorial Writing
    3. Feature Writing
    4. Sports Writing
    5. Interpretative and Investigative Writing
  3. orient the teachers and students on the Code of Ethics in News Writing.

The participants to this activity are professors/teachers handling journalism subjects or acting advisers of school publication, college instructors, supervisors, principals, head teachers, coordinators, editors-in-chief or staffers of a school paper and other interested teachers and students from both public and private schools.

A registration fee of Two Thousand Pesos (PhP2,000.00) will be charged to each participant to cover expenses for the speakers’ fees, lunch (2), snacks (5), handouts and certificates. A discounted fee of One Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty Pesos (PhP1 ,780.00) will be given to early registrants.

Sir i would like to join in this seminar. i'm a school paper adviser of Daanghari Elem. School here in North Daanghari Taguig City.
In line of this matter I would like to request from you to send us an invitation so that our pricipal will allow us to join in this workshop.

pls send me info on where to stay while we are on the 3-day national seminar workshop on campus journalism there in cebu. Is the 2000php registration will cover the accommodation/lodging?
