The Conference-Workshop aims to bring together secondary level special education (SPED) schools practitioners who are recipients of SPED Support Funds so that they can share with each other their best practices and lessons gained from teaching special students. The conference-workshop will be highlighted by plenary, workshops and open forum.
The participants to this activity are regular and SPED teachers, practitioners, school administrators, education supervisors and advocates of secondary SPED.
A registration fee of Five Thousand Pesos (PhP5,000.00) shall be charged to each participant to cover expenses for a three (3)-day board and lodging, conference kits and honoraria of resource persons. The first meal to be served will be dinner on October 28 and the last meal will be afternoon snacks on October 31, 2012.
The registration fee, travel expenses and other incidental expenses shall be charged to support funds/local funds subject to its availability and the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. The participants from private schools shall make their own financial arrangements with their respective schools or sponsoring institutions.
The division coordinators are requested to confirm the number of participants from their respective divisions on or before September 28, 2012.
