I'm currently working here in New Zealand, can I open a BDO savings account here in New Zealand?

According to the BDO Customer Service Representative (eServices Unit), no account opening services are available in New Zealand:
"We regret to inform you that we have no account opening services in New Zealand.
For security purposes, we require that a customer be physically present at the branch to sign the necessary account opening forms in the presence of a branch officer.
Should you, however, be returning to the Philippines in the near future, you may visit any of our BDO branch and we shall be very glad to assist you in opening an account."
eServices Unit of Customer Contact Center is available Mondays to Sundays from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Manila Time.
