Why does my pc shut off immediately after boot screen?

Why does my pc shut off immediately after boot screen?

I have an ASRock 970-g/3.1 and whenever I turn it on immediately after the xboost screen comes up, it shuts off. I can access bios perfectly fine. Also I didn't install driver disc on my NEW Mobo. somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong.
