My Kenmore 100 series sensing washer will not change cycles?

My Kenmore 100 series sensing washer will not change cycles? I push the button in to start the washing process and the water enters the unit first at a good speed but slows down to a trickle. It never changes to the wash cycle. ANSWERS:
