My lightning is very light has no color to it

My lightning is very light has no color to it For about 3-4 months now my Samsung tv lightning on the tv is super light it showed color at first perfect then about half way watching the tv the lightning background turned super light no clor. Now it is swhite when you turn it on and can barely see anything on the tv. ANSWERS:
