New clutch. Not pumping out, doesn't appear to spin fast enough.

New clutch. Not pumping out, doesn't appear to spin fast enough.

I have a kenmore series 90 washer (model 110.4786291) that recently (within the last two weeks) exhibited the classic 'clutch is worn out' symptom of leaving water and soaked clothes in the washer when it is done washing.

ANSWERS:

The problem could likely be due to the 'wobbly' coupling leading to damage with the entire drive transmission . The issues would eventually cause motor to wear out. Causing the problems you described. This would require a new motor, and a new drive shaft system.
