reset iPod I turn on the unit it comes up with itunes
I reset my ipod and now the only thing that comes up on the screen is Ipod with a cable cord. What do I need to do now!

This means that your iPod is probably stuck in some kind of DFU/Recovery Mode.
Just connect it to your computer, launch iTunes and follow the instructions on screen.
I guess iTunes will tell you that it discovered a device in Revovery Mode and that it's going to restore your device with the newest firmware.
You just do that and you should be fine.
