Timer stuck on Maytag dryer

Timer stuck on Maytag dryer

The timer on the dryer (Bravos MCT) Maytag does not move. The clothes dry, but the timer stays on the same amount of minutes throughout the drying cycle. Thanks for your help.

ANSWERS:

"Note: unplug dryer first. Shock hazard exists.

If the the dryer runs continuously and doesn't have automatic moisture sensing. Then the timer may be bad. Is it moving? Is a clicking noise coming from it ? If no most likely it's the timer. If it has moisture sensing then Google your model for location of it and clean the metal contact with wool lightly and vacuum lint holes on inside of drum."
