Why does the left side of my LG 75UK6570PUB screen distort?

Why does the left side of my LG 75UK6570PUB screen distort? Every few seconds, the left side of the TV screen goes into a mode where whatever is displayed becomes distorted. It goes dim and vibrates visually. ANSWERS:
