Why is my television screen has horizontal lines and double images.
I have a 42 inch RCA Television and I note that there are horizontal lines and double images. Is it an easy fix or do I have to change the board. and what board should I search for?

Check for obviously damaged components like leaking or domed capacitors. Check all the wiring etc. Post some images of what your screen displays as well as of your boards once you tear it down.
