National Seminar-Workshop on Rethinking Education: Teaching Towards the Development of the 21st Century Skills and Competencies

The Center for the Professional Advancement of Educators (CPAE) will hold the National Seminar-Workshop on Rethinking Education: Teaching Towards the Development of the 21st Century Skills and Competencies on March 9-11, 2012 at the P.T.M. Building, Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC), San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. Among the topics to be covered are teaching for understanding, project/problem based-approaches, and differentiated instruction.

The Seminar-Workshop aims to:

1. update educators on relevant issues and concerns in education;
2. encourage them to assess and reflect on their classroom strategies; and
3. empower them to make their classroom relevant for the 21st century learning.
   

The participants to this activity are school administrators, supervisors, principals, heads/coordinators, teachers (all levels), and college education students.

The registration fees inclusive of seminar materials, lunch, snacks, certificates, and speaker’s fees are as follows:
