For sale Busch 14 Inch (350mm) F6 Portrait Aplanat No 4 Fast Brass Lens. It comes with a 4 holed mounting flange. The marking on the barrel reads ""ROJA. VORM. EMIL BUSCH RATHENOW” and “BUSCH’S PORTRAIT APLANAT No 4 FOC. 14 INS.” The aperture scale marking is from F6 to 64. No serial number is visible, lens is from between 1890 to 1900. A fast lens ideal for wet plate photography. The lens glass is clean and clear with exception to minor cleaning marks and dust, otherwise without any fungus or separation. The aperture diaphragm open and close smoothly. Approx. lens dimension- 4½ inch height; 3½ inch front hood dia; 52mm front and back glass dia; 76mm mounting thread od; 99mm outer flange dia., and weighs 1.2 kg. A collector’s gem, hard to find fast lens from Emil Busch.
