I had great plans for this doll and the Ruruko doll that I have also listed. When I received this doll from Japan, I removed her packaging ties (they can cause damage) and put her back in her box and then never touched her again. She went into a dark drawer, so her lovely face paint and skin colour is beautiful. I’m a textile designer with a degree in fashion design so I thought I would make her a little 70s inspired frock with vintage fabric. I got as far as making the frock with details of size and pattern shapes from some of my Japanese research material but I didn’t get as far as putting it on her (see, I did have plans!), there are no closures on the back of the little frock but I put it in with her anyway. She is perfect and untouched and gorgeous! Why am I selling her? I have spent the last four years building my own doll line and this year I want to go to a big Tokyo toy and licensing show.
