TRANSMISSION is bad. Would this cause my Cobalt to shut off at stops.

TRANSMISSION is bad. Would this cause my Cobalt to shut off at stops. Cobalt dies at stops, idle drops and car shuts off. I know the tranny is bad and have tried other things that may cause the problem so I need to know if replacing the tranny will help. | |
