I am a graduate and postgraduate from one of the most prestigious and the largest residential university in Asia – Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP, India. I have worked intensely for last over 20 years at various tertiary care academic and non-acaedemic, widely acclaimed medical institutions in India, Australia and Saudi Arabia, including world famous Christian Medical College, Vellore, India & world’s 4th largest corporate hospital- Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi.

I was awarded FAPSR (Fellow of Asia Pacific Society of Respirology) and several academic association memberships of Europe & USA in 2013.

On 7th Jan 2015 my status as Respiratory Physician its qualification, training & experience was considered as substantially comparable to that of Australian trained Respiratory Physician by Royal Australiasian College of Physicians, Australia.

My wide experience in various academic, clinical and research aspects of respiratory medicine including critical care & sleep medicine has immensely benefited medical students and patients worldwide.

I have nearly 7 years of full time teaching experience (both undergraduate- MBBS, and postgraduate-MD - Internal Medicine, Chest Medicine) in top notch Medical Institutes and hospitals including Christian Medical College Vellore, Jawaharlal Institute of Post -Graduate, Pondicherry, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical College, Sevagram, Wardha, India, and as part time, in Family Medicine (DNB- Diplomate of National Board of India)-at Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, New Delhi for 4 years and nearly 9 months as Assistant Professor at Saraswati Medical Institute, Hapur, UP, India.

I have several research works on various aspects of both Internal and Respiratory Medicine viz. Visceral Leishmaniasis, HIV, Allergy etc.; and most recently working on tuberculosis as part-time for - REMOX & DRTB Trial- in association with TB Alliance, University College of London & Apothecaries (CRO), as Principal Investigator.

On the verge of 21st century Interventional Pulmonology became popular in managing various complicated respiratory diseases worldwide. I have safest pair of hands in various aspects of Interventional Pulmonology (including Fibreoptic Bronchoscopy, Rigid Bronchoscopy and Thoracoscopy) with extensive experience in both Invasive and Non-Invasive Ventilation. Teaching has been a part of my hobby since beginning and hence delivered several guest lectures on various aspects of respiratory medicine on both, public and academic floors.

I was one of the team members to start first Sleep Lab. at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi (1996) and the first to start Interventional Pulmonology (2002), in India.
