The moment you put these tubes in your amp you know you are going to experience something very special. This is the tube that ended the rumor that warmth couldn't be found on German tubes. The Siemens engineers said ""Yes actually it can be found on these and there's a lot of it!"" Made in West Germany and labeled RCA for the US market back in the early 1960s, these tubes naturally share all the remarkable traits of classic Siemens E88CC - magically extended (but never fatiguing) and airy highs, the transparent and expansive midrange, the deeply controlled and accurate bass, and all of the above are presented in a spacious and enveloping holographic sound stage, and they also get a little boost in the upper lower range and now you have not only an overall warmer tone but a slightly more pronounced bass as well. No other German E88CC tubes can reproduce vocals as closely to high end Mullards and Amperex 6922 PQ's as these do. And of course, like most of the German tubes they're super quiet and that helps deliver superb clarity and sound separation. Both tubes tested extremely strong NOS on the professional Amplitrex tester in auto bias mode. See the key measurements from the test result below.
