How to fix white screen of death how to fix white screen of death i have tried fixing by reseting restoreing(won't restore) please tell me how to fix WSOD without replaceing my lcd

"watch video ... how to open iphone ... change screen and somehow disconnect battery from the main board.. one must work... but watch videos closely ... make notes and points ... do it stepwise ...

then place every thing back ... it is simple because the design of iphone is simple from inside

"If the iPhone White screen of death came randomly then you should try this fix [DFU mode].

1. Open Itunes and connect your iPhone to your PC/Mac

2. Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button all at the same time.

3. After 10 seconds release the sleep/wake button.And continue holding the home button. Keep holding the home button until you see a message saying ""iTunes has discovered an iPhone in recovery mode, you must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes"". There you have it your if is in DFU mode.

I have some sort of issue, mostly the same. Got this iPhone 3 for free. White screen, still sound. Did a iTunes recovery, then it won’t do anything. I took of the screen and reconnected the cables, is there anything else I can do that may fix the problem? I want to use it, but I need to fix it first.
