Lens keeps extending and retracting and displays System Error (Zoom)

Lens keeps extending and retracting and displays System Error (Zoom) My Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS19 when turned on the lens will extend and contract and then the display "System Error (Zoom)" or "Please turn off the camera and on again".
