New battery wont charge after replacement.

Changed the battery in my watch. Completed the initial drain and charge to 100%. Now, the battery won’t charge past 40% again and is steadily draining. Had the same issue happen with another battery and Ifixit sent me a another replacement. Same result. Suggestions?
