smoke and burning smell was coming out of my magic bullet

I too faced the above issue yesterday, i purchased it in US and using in Singapore. I took the voltage converter plug too but i hear a sound and smoke came out of it in 1st usage, i am pretty worried if it will work or not ? Any suggession ?
