Can I replace the headphone jack on Apple EarPods?

I was listening to music with my iPod plugged into the earpods. I dropped the iPod, and luckily, the headphone jack took the force, and the iPod hung from the cable. But that bent the jack and rendered them useless. I was wondering if there was a way to cut it off and replace it. Thanks
