device not responding, no lights coming on

device not responding, no lights coming on used my speaker at a friends place, rained a little speaker got a bit wet nothing fancy worked for many hours after and then suddenly died after what I thought would be a dead battery after hours of playback at above average volume. Device will not switch on, charge or be recognized on the computer? help! ANSWERS:
