Dryer shuts off after a few seconds and smells like burning wires. Why does my dryer shut off after 4-5 seconds and smell like burning wires? There are no error codes. A serviceman from Sears could not find a problem. He did a PM on the dryer. Now, a couple weeks later, it will not run and still smells. ANSWERS:
