How do I get sound to my soundbar for Netflix

How do I get sound to my soundbar for Netflix Hi- We have a 70 in smart TV- just bought a Vizio surround system from Costco- but we can't get Netflix to have sound come through the sound bar. I am sure it is just a simple connection somewhere- but if someone could tell me how to fix this, would be ever so grateful ! ANSWERS:
