How to bypass bluetooth on onyx 4 and just make connected amplified sp

I have harmon kardon onyx 4 speaker, in fact I have two. One is not working, maybe battery issue. My question is, is there a way to bypass bluetooth in just make it a amplified wired (headphone) jack speaker. I m tired on it cutting out on bluetooth.

ANSWERS:

"Hi,

Do you mean the Onyx Studio 4?

Connecting audio via the 3.5mm aux in jack, using a stereo audio cable, should cut off the BT.

If it doesn’t do this then perhaps you can disconnect the antenna from the motherboard so that it can’t receive any BT signals that are being transmitted unless the BT host device is right on top of the speaker. The downside with this is that it will also prevent any WiFi connection to the speaker as they use the same antenna.

Here’s an image taken from a Onyx Studio 4 teardown video which shows where the antenna is connected to the motherboard.
