it will cut off, I still have sound but no picture
My Toshiba is hanging on my wall. Been there for last 2 years. Lasts over days it will cut off, I still have sound but no picture. Help

LaTasha Williams we would need to get some more info from you. We need to know the exact model for your Toshiba. We also need to know if once the screen goes black, does it stay black or does the screen eventually come back. In a darkened room once it is black but you do have sound, shine a flashlight beam at an angle against the screen. Let us know if you can see the screen by doing that. If so, your issues are related to the backlight. If not we’ll have to dig a bit deeper. Please remember that Toshiba is a terribly secretive company. It is right up there with Apple and black helicopters. They treat their schematics etc. with a For You Eyes only status so they are a bit hard to come by….;-)
