replaced camshaft position sensor still issues

replaced camshaft position sensor still issues I replaced my camshaft position sensor on my 2013 terrain and a week later the check engine light came back on with 3 more camshaft errors all the same. I was told that having so many camshaft errors could be symptoms of another problem . Is that true.
