Sanyo 50 in plasma tv turns on then after a few seconds turns back off

I recently replaced the power supply board in my Sanyo 50 in plasma tv, due to it being completely dead when plugged in. I replaced with a new/refurbished part. It now comes on but very briefly then turns off and the standby light blinks. What does this mean? It almost looks like it's on but real dark .
