The door will lock and unlock about six times
I have a 110 Kenmore top loader. I put a new lock and latch and the lock will lock and unlock about 6 times and the sensor light blinks. What do I do now?

This sound like there is something not allowing the tub to inhale. Possibly a rusted hub. The sensor is sensing the position of the motor/alignment of the clutch with the tub and motor. If something isn’t lining up right it will try to adjust itself . That’s when you hear the lid lock clicking repeatedly. Sometimes I’ve found an item of clothing that worded its way between the inner and outer tub. Or the hub assembly is rusted to the drive shaft. Either one will require some work to remove the agitator/wash plate then remove the inner tub to inspect the hub. Both will keep the tub from spinning while everything works."
