Turned off one day and never turned back on

Turned off one day and never turned back on I have an old samsung 27inch Syncmaster that just quit on me the other day. The capacitive buttons don’t do anything anymore, can’t get the monitor to turn on or any of the lights to light up. Is there any way to repair it if I crack it open? What would I even be looking for?
