Why do I see red vertical line down center?
My 26" Samsung that is appx. 5 years old has a thin,red vertical line running down center of screen. What is the cause?

@judithemling multiple thin vertical line are most commonly caused by a connection issue (unseated, corroded etc.) originating with the ribbon cables. Single vertical lines are most commonly caused by a failed component on the LCD board and will require replacement of the LCD. The cost for a replacement LCD will most likely be more than a new TV. If it is not to bad, I'd leave it and continue to watch TV.....
