Why is my microwave immediately shutting down?

Why is my microwave immediately shutting down? Panasonic Over The Range Microwave Oven Model NN-P295 shuts down immediately no matter what program is selected. It started doing this after the exhaust door at the top was pushed closed while it was running. I will try to add pictures showing the door st the top of the microwave. ANSWERS:
