Tanduay positions itself into a global brand...

The Board of Tanduay Holdings approved yesterday the increase in the Company's authorized capital stock from P5 Billion to P25 Billion or an increase by P20 Billion. The Company needed to broaden its equity base to solidify its future investment growth.
This move is well in line with the goal of transforming Tanduay into a global brand as it starts to explore the global market. The Company has firmed up its move towards this direction by appointing three US-based firms as the Company's partner on the project.

Brand Action Team (BAT) as marketing partner will be responsible for repositioning and marketing Tanduay to appeal to American consumers. BAT is beverage alcohol marketing consulting company composed of people directly responsible for some of the biggest spirits brands in the world today and who have seen the global potential behind the Tanduay brand and products.

Beacon Distributors, as sales and distribution specialist, will focus primarily on distributor and key account management for on and off-premise. Beacon will provide Tanduay with a dedicated sales force necessary for state-by-state representation and management of distributors and key retail accounts where the ultimate goal is to gain the attention and commitment to the Tanduay brand.

MHW, Ltd. is a leading logistics and management service provider for wine and spirits in the U.S. with experience dating back to 1934. MHW will be responsible for the administrative, regulatory compliance, transportation, logistics, warehouse, reporting, billing and collection services in relation to the importation and distribution of the Tanduay brand into and within the U.S.

With the professional assistance of these three companies, Tanduay is now laying the groundworks for its foray into the US market and well on its way towards its vision of making Tanduay a global brand.
