Why is my tv smell like its burning?

Last month my niece dropped my tv on the floor after a month the picture started to on and off.and then after 30minutes we can smell like its burning then its going to black out.i didnt do anything but to turn the power off...and it scared us.please help.do we need to call a professional technician for samsung tv?and where?tnx a lot!
