- develop framework for organizing an effective functional curriculum that will lead to the successful transition of Special Education (SPED) students from school to work;
- illustrate how the Life-Centered Career Education (LCCE) competencies and the four stages of career development can be integrated into the scope and sequence of an academically-based curriculum;
- learn to differentiate career education from vocational education;
- demonstrate knowledge about the features and barriers of career education; and
- learn to accept and appreciate the LCCE transition model as a viable approach to providing a logical K to 12 scope and sequence of career development experiences which will eventually lead the students from school to a successful transition into work and community living.
A registration fee of Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP4,500.00) wi11 be charged to each Early Bird registrant until April 25, 2012 and Five Thousand Pesos (PhP5,000.00) to each who will register after April 25, 2012.
