The ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra announces its invitation for a Free
Educational Concert Series for Public Schools at the Aliw Theatre, MBC
Building, Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex, Roxas
Boulevard, Pasay City. The concert covers both classical pieces and
popular songs.
The Concert aims to expose the audience to live orchestral music. The elementary pupils and secondary students from public schools are invited to watch the Concert. Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith. This activity is also subject to the no-collection policy as stated in Section 3 of Republic Act No. 5546, An Act Prohibiting the Sale of Tickets and/or the Collection of Contributions for Whatever Project or Purpose from Students and Teachers of Public and Private Schools, Colleges and Universities (Ganzon Law).
