The Seminar-Workshop aims to:
- acquaint participants with the various forms of speech arts such as oration, declamation, dramatic monologue, interpretative reading of poetry, choral speaking, chamber theater, and readers theater, as well as jazz chants;
- train them on these forms of speech arts and jazz chants as strategies for teaching; and
- equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to become trainers in relevant speech competitions.
The target participants to these activities are school administrators, supervisors, principals/school heads (SHs), coordinators, English/Filipino/Literature teachers from both public and private schools and other interested individuals.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
