The Conference aims to:
- equip the participants with the 21st Century approaches in teaching and assessing English as a Second Language (ESL), Reading Comprehension and Literary Interpretation;
- integrate Multiple Intelligence approaches in teaching and assessment; and
- develop their communicative, reading and literary competence for global competitiveness.
The target participants to this activity are English, Reading and Literature teachers across grade levels, department heads, administrators, graduate and undergraduate students from both public and private schools nationwide.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
